Set within the school site of Stratford Prep School in Stratford-upon-Avon, Little Prep children benefit from the highest quality of care and education from our dedicated nursery team who are here to support their development in a home from home setting.

At Little Prep Nursery in Stratford-upon-Avon, we understand that children’s needs change dramatically as they grow. That’s why we’ve created four distinct rooms, each thoughtfully designed to match the developmental stage and interests of the children in that age group.

Set within the grounds of Stratford Preparatory School, our nursery rooms provide a safe, stimulating, home-from-home environment where every child can thrive. As children move through our rooms, they benefit from smooth transitions and continuity of care from our dedicated team who know them well.

How Our Room Structure Works

The nursery consists of four separate rooms catering to specific ages and stages of development. The Under 2s unit is split into two separate but flexible groups, with one area tailored towards younger non-walking children (6 months – approx. 16 months) and the other area meeting the needs of children who are confident movers (approx. 16 months – 2 years). There is a toddler room, where children between 2 years old and 3 years old can develop their skills, and finally, a pre-school classroom, where children are fully prepared for their transition into Reception. All rooms are carefully designed and resourced to ensure children build on their prior knowledge and make progress through the curriculum.

In addition to the nursery rooms, children access a shared outdoor space, which supports physical development and natural curiosity. Children also explore the local area of Stratford-upon-Avon, with visits to the library, the park, natural green spaces and walks along the river. All are planned regularly to enhance children’s experiences.
